1. What this program is

Intelligent Automation operates an authorized security-awareness training program. As part of it, we send simulated scam messages — mock phishing emails, simulated smishing (SMS) messages, simulated vishing (voice) calls, and QR-code exercises — to people whose organization has enrolled them, so they learn to recognize and safely handle the real attacks they face every day. This is the same category of service offered by established vendors such as KnowBe4, Proofpoint, and Cofense.

These messages are training exercises, never real attacks. They are sent only to enrolled, consented participants, and each one leads directly to educational coaching that explains it was a test and how to spot the warning signs.

2. Authorization — required before any campaign

Before a single simulated message is sent, the participating organization (the "Client") provides IA a signed written authorization confirming that it:

IA enforces this in the platform: no signed authorization on file, no campaign. The authorization identifies the scope of the engagement and is retained as the record of consent.

3. Participant consent

Participants in an organizational program are employees or members of the enrolling Client who have consented to security testing through their employment, membership, or enrollment terms. The Client is responsible for informing its participants that security-awareness testing is part of the program.

We also offer an individual (consumer) training track that is strictly opt-in: a person enrolls themselves — or a family member with that person's permission — to receive practice scam messages. No individual is enrolled without a deliberate opt-in.

5. Opting out

Any participant may opt out of simulation messages at any time:

We honor opt-out requests promptly. Message and data rates may apply to SMS. See our SMS Terms of Service and SMS Privacy Policy.

6. Data and privacy

We store only the minimal interaction data needed to run the training and report results to the Client (for example, whether a message was delivered and whether the recipient clicked). Simulations do not capture credentials or other sensitive personal data. For full detail on how we handle information, see our Privacy Policy and SMS Privacy Policy.
